2. Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
3. Perform testing: continuity test horizontal and riser cable; use of volt-ohmmeter; troubleshoot opens, crosses, shorts and transpose pairs on horizontal and riser cable; use a tone set.
4. Identify an active voice or data circuit.
5. Assume responsibility for effective performance of crew and provide necessary training; Coordinate personnel and timeline to complete project.
6. Fully complete all FCG paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).

The Services Team works on electrical and automation control equipment and provides onsite repair and maintenance, custom equipment design, wiring, installation & testing, and start-up & commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment. We have 24 service districts that provide opportunities all across the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for directing the coordination of technical support and equipment for on-site jobs. Serves as a liaison between the customer and various functions. Ensures profitability and productivity standards are followed. Provides technical support and guidance to service personnel. Directs the coordination and pre-job planning of technical support and equipment for on-site jobs, including activities such as installation, inspection, repair, preventative maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. to effectively meet customer requirements. Provides after-hours coordination of emergency responses. Acts as a liaison between the customer and various functions. Communicates to customer what will be completed at the job site and communicates customer expectations to field service personnel. Ensures profitability, utilization, and productivity standards are followed. Controls overtime, travel, and other expenses. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Oversees the maintenance and utilization of required spare parts and supplies. Serves as technical resource providing support and guidance to service personnel and customers.
