POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Contracts & Customer Service is responsible for administering the company's contractual duties in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Manager, Contracts & Customer Service reports directly to the General Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the Division's principal point-of-contact in communicating with customer contracting personnel on contractual matters. This will include negotiation of pricing (if required), terms and conditions, specifications, statements of work, and any contract modifications.
Review and assess business risk of terms and conditions contained in customer solicitations and contracts, including certifications and representations. Actively participate in new business reviews and proposal development efforts.
Perform in a lead role in the preparation and submission of new business and contract change proposals and perform internal and external administration tasks on resulting contracts/modifications.
Subject all contractual documents to proper review, approval, and signature and ensure that all terms, conditions, and requirements are consistent with the solicitations.
Issue or modify sales orders to authorize the performance of the work called for in the customer's contract or contract modification.
Maintain or direct effective document control to include release, distribution, filing and timely close out of all contractual documentation, to include contract agreements, changes, modifications, customer correspondence, and supporting reports and documentation.
Review and coordinate with Program Managers and Management all contract statements of work, specifications, and other customer requirements, to ensure performance remains within scope of contract.
Ensure that contract milestones on major contracts such as delivery schedules, contract expiration and definitization dates, report submissions, and customer notifications are monitored and communicated in a timely fashion to management.
Provide program and senior management with timely reports on major contracts of any significant deviation from contract requirements, contractual risks arising from anticipated company actions or decisions, and any customer actions or in actions or communication which may adversely affect the company's interest.
Coordinate with Corporate Legal and Controller on any contractual matter, which involves, or could lead to, a claim, litigation, or contractual dispute.
Maintain a precise up-to-date knowledge of current government procurement laws and regulations to include a working knowledge of FAR, CAS, Truth in Negotiation Act, and all Public Laws to ensure that any impacts to the company are proactively addressed.
REQUIREMENTS:
� Four year college degree required
� Must have at least 10 years experience in contracts and customer service
� In depth knowledge of US Government contracting procedures including US Government/DoD Cost Plus contracting, fixed price contracting, DCAA and DCMA policies and procedures.
� In depth knowledge of US Government export compliance (including ITAR) policies and export licensing procedures
