Job Description: This position is responsible for the configuration of the Carrier Access Billing System (“CABS”) to correctly bill approximately $60 million each month to other carriers over 10 cycles. In addition, this position is responsible for the input and verification of a multitude of changes to CABS billing that are required for monthly invoicing of wireline billing.

Demonstrated technical skills in data networking or closely related field

Education:

Currently pursuing a 4-year technical degree in a discipline such as engineering, computer science, physics, CIS/MIS, etc. Candidates with one year or less remaining in a degree program preferred.

Desired Experience:

2+ years experience with IT/LAN/WAN in an operations or help-desk environment
2+ years troubleshooting network elements, protocols, services, and transport layer problems

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of central office transport equipment including test methods
Understanding of ATM and/or frame relay services
Knowledge of ADSL equipment, protocols, and networking

Certificates/ Licenses:

Cisco CCNA desired
